Who pissed in your cornflakes, Madonna? Could be her bitchy behavior at the Venice Film Festival was because her movie W.E. is being called “clunky” and “preening,” but it’s probably just her usual M.O. God forbid that every reporter attending the festival know her flower preferences, or else it’s gonna be a national incident.
Here’s how it went down: At the press junket, someone (we’re assuming a reporter) handed Madonna a gift (!) of hydrangeas. She fakely smiled and said thank-you, then dropped them behind the table and, in full view of several cameras apparently, rolled her eyes at her friend. “I absolutely loathe hydrangeas,” she said. “He obviously doesn’t know that.” All in her English accent!
See, some celebrities at press junkets can be awesome, like Mila Kunis taking on a reporter in Russian. Then you have this entitled shit.
This is like that Sex and the City episode where Carrie and Samantha snark on carnations or whatever flowers you’re not supposed to bring on a date. Berger’s flabbergasted response is about how we felt when watching this Madonna video.
