It was the disastrous thing that set a long chain of events into play. The year was 1984, when Michael Jackson was filming his sixth take for his Pepsi commercial, when the pyrotechnics explosion went off too early.
Something went horribly wrong, and thus changed Michael’s life forever. His hair was on fire, and he didn’t even notice. Michael was just dancing along until he was taken over by a fire extinguisher and several men tackling him to the ground to ensure he wasn’t on fire.

So sad. This incident burned Michael’s scalp and caused his addiction to painkillers. RIP MJ.
