The Los Angeles Galaxy suffered quite a defeat on Saturday, falling to the NY Red Bulls 2-1. The lone Galaxy goal was scored by Alan Gordon.
The team attributes the loss to their inability to stay focused for the entire 90 minutes they are on the field.
“Sometimes in a game, I don’t know what it is, we switch off. We think we can win only on talent and that’s not true,” coach Gullit said during a post-game press conference. “We have to work hard every week. We have to stick to our game plan.”
