Leave it to Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Danielle Staub to find yet another way to increase the tabloid buzz about her. Following in the footsteps of other housewives like Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Kim Zolciak, Danielle has recorded a pop song. But taking the rumors stemming from Kim’s collaboration with lesbian DJ one step further, Danielle has recorded a sensual duet with lesbian pop star Lori Michaels, which the two women performed live last night on Watch What Happens Live after Housewives.
And to add fuel to that rumor mill fire, Danielle did not deny that she and Lori were dating while recording the song, “Real Close,” when asked by host, and Bravo programming exec, Andy Cohen. You could see Andy’s eyes lighting up with the promotional and ratings possibilities as the two were singing. And, much to our surprise, Danielle’s voice was actually pretty good. It’s not like the song is very challenging vocally, but unlike the Countess, no autotune is necessary.
