A recent video of Whitney Houston has been making the internet rounds today, and, like most remembrances of her, it’s making people both happy and sad.
The video was taken at a small, private Superbowl party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where the late singer was watching the game with family and friends. When Madonna starts performing her hit “Vogue” during the halftime show, Whitney gets all excited and starts dancing around in her seat. Adorable.
Many are taking this as yet one more reminder that despite being a hugely successful singer with no obligation to be nice to anyone (a “diva,” if you will), Whitney had room in her heart and ego for other talents. Or, as writer Rich Juzwiak put it:
