AOL’s Moviefone has crowned Voldemort as the best movie villain of all time. Now, I love Voldemort (not really, but you know what I mean) but honestly, I think there are scarier movie villains out there. For instance:
- Hannibal Lecter
- Norman Bates
- Nurse Ratched
- Jack Nicolson in The Shining
- Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction
And on and on. While I do believe he deserves a place on the list, I don’t think he should be number one – my opinion is that Hannibal Lecter is hands down the scariest movie villain. What do you think?

well…i have to say i think Voldemort should be number one. but that’s because the Voldemort in my head is about a MILLION times scarier than the Voldemort on the screen. but lets wait till the next three movies are out before we decide. i’ve got to say…even darth vader (number 2 on the list) was able to love. Voldemort my not eat anyone but hannibal lector isn’t immortal! or magic. i like my chances against a muggle cannibal a lot more than a wizard with no conscience.
