A lot of people would love to star opposite Brad Pitt in a movie, and Mario Cantone is no exception. Mario plays Anthony Marentino in Sex and the City, a good friend of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), who happens to be gay. He said that he would love to have Brad Pitt play his love interest in the next film.
Mario was quoted as saying, “I’ve always said I wanted Brad Pitt to play my lover, but that’s never going to happen because he’s much better looking. Either him or Ashton Kutcher!”
I thought that was hilarious. See? Brad Pitt appeals to everyone women AND men alike!
I think he should be sure that he doesn’t hold his breath though; somehow I don’t see Brad ever taking a role in a Sex and the City movie, it’s not really his style!

Being the love interest of a gay person on a movie is ok AS LONG AS there isn’t any physical contact. I’d be weirded out, totally, if there’s even a physical contact with Brad in a movie! Yikes!

Brad does not do romantic comedies. So if he is going to do one I hope it would be one where his co star is female. Plus SATC was not that good to me so I would want a better script.

I agree with Sherry! I doubt he’ll do it, for the reasons lac mentioned and because he seems to have quite a bit on his plate movie-wise right now (Moneyball will be filming in just a few weeks, then he’s got Lost City of Z, and a few movies that were just announced a few months ago, such as the one he’s going to do with Natalie Portman).

i loved SATC!!!!i would love to see him in that role BECAUSE its not his style. its something new and he can play everything.
but i agree it will probably not happen.

i loved SATC! and i would really love Brad playing the part although i agree that i don´t see that coming.
i think especially BECAUSE its not a usual role he takes i would find it interesting. something new and refreshing!

I don’t know how I feel about Brad playing a gay role at some point. On the one hand, I don’t have a problem with gays or lesbians, and I think it’s perfectly fine for actors to portray them.
On the other hand, however, I am afraid that the tabs might run wild with rumors about Brad actually being gay in real life if he played a gay role (i.e., claiming that he’s getting close with his co-star, which may indicate that he is gay himself).
I would like to think that the tabs would never get THAT ridiculious, but, as we have seen recently, there doesn’t seem to be anything that the tabs consider too ridiculious to print. :(

i would like to see him in that movie, and i think he could do it: brad often makes different things, so i think it’s possible
