All indications are that War, Inc. will still be seeing a full theatrical release in the US on May 23rd after it’s earlier world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. However, we have a third release around this time to DVD.
On July 1, War, Inc. will be released to Blu-ray disc and to standard DVD format. Not to worry – War, Inc. will still be going to full theatrical release. But, as a part of their promotion to moving to the Blu-Ray format, the movie will be released soon after onto Blu-ray disc. This format is still not very widely used, as with any HD format, so it should not affect the sales of the movie in the theaters.
The suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.99. And, in case you haven’t put the pieces together on how cool this is – Hilary Duff in high definition!

its a limited theatrical release. Only being release in New York and L.A.
