The Monday, August 13th premiere of Showtime’s show Weeds set a record for the show and for the network!
824,000 people watched the 10pm premiere, which is a 43% increase from the season two premiere last summer!
Bob Greenblatt, Showtime’s entertainment guy, was pleased with the numbers. “‘Weeds’ has firmly planted itself as a really big hit for us,” he noted.
Congratulations to Weeds. The ratings will be interesting when Mary-Kate Olsen makes her entrance in episode five.
