What Did the Town Loner Protest?

In ‘Take the Deviled Eggs…‘, the Stars Hollow “town loner”, the “backpack guy”, has put in a request to stage a protest. When the time comes, the gown gathers to see what is being protested. The longer goes up the church tower to drop a banner, only it’s backwards. Then rips. He tries yelling, but we can’t hear what he’s saying.

I’ve always been curious about what the town loner could have been protesting, haven’t you? Do you have any guesses?

Whatever it is, I really doubt Lorelai’s guess was correct ;)

“Hey, maybe that’s the Town Loner’s point. That, like, he’s protesting man’s inability to communicate by not communicating and getting us all to talk about communication.”

Ah the incoherent town loner, one of those great “little moments” to amuse us while we are waiting for the “real story” to unfold, Jess’s discovery of his delightfully devil-egged car. Which leads to a better question for the week. With their finely developed pitching form, would should close Game 7 of the World series for the Phillies, Lorelai or Rory??

Maybe he is protesting the label of town loner. He wants a friend. (just kidding)

That is something that ALWAYS bothers me. I think it’s something about school, though…

He never actually said anything, its a script. He was saying “stop the noodle skooz” but hes saying is with really bad diction so we are always wondering what he said. He was never actually protesting anything. The banner probably just had letters written on it.

I think it’s torture and a mystery in one! “Stop the noodle scooz” is a funny saying though.
