Before I give you the floor and you can all chime in on what you really think about this whole “Nash Is Alive” storyline on One Life To Live, let me share a few thoughts of my own. Maybe you’ll be able to draw from it too.
When they killed off Nash Brennan (Forbes March) last June of 2008, TPTB made us understand that you know, someone dying in a family is a reality. It was part of the story and it does happen in real life. No matter how hurtful it is. So I think we all understood that. It also gave Bree Williamson an AWESOME storyline to sink her teeth into. She gave it justice and then some. She should’ve won the Emmy for it but whatever.
Now that we’ve moved on for losing someone we love, just like in real life, the writers is trying to “convince” us that perhaps Nash might actually be alive? Or not. Jessica gets stalked, A few people died. Jared is somehow involved and BOOM, Jared is missing. Conveniently, Brody had to see his sister so he’s away from Jessica while she’s getting all these mysterious calls.
What do you really think about this story? Is Nash really alive or a pigment of an imagination also known as revenge from Jared? Do you want Nash to be alive and come back to Jessica and Bree? I loved Jess and Nash together but now I am ok with her being with Broody. I think the Nash is alive is a bunch of hooey. Didn’t I read that Nash is working on another soap? Leave him dead.
I would LOVE it if Nash were alive, but watching Jess think he might be is heartbreaking. It’s not his voice at all and I wouldn’t want anyone but Forbes in that role. It also broke my heart that Bree thought that the stalker was her daddy. It’s totally rubbing salt in the wounds. I loved Jess & Nash together, they were the reason I got hooked on OLTL back when she was Tess. I can’t stand her being with Brody, he’s a child killer! Nash’s death was one of the saddest things I’ve watched, it’s right up there with Stone’s death on GH and Ryan’s death on AW. I would be the happiest soap addict in the world if he came back but I’m not getting my hopes up at all. It’s all so sad!!!
I hope that Nash isn’t alive. I love Brody and Jessica as a couple, way more than Nash and Jess. Brody and Jessica just fit perfectly. They are a perfect match to me.
I wouldn’t be suprised if Nash was alive though. He could of had some secrets that we didn’t know about. We never saw if Nash was in the coffin, Jessica never saw it. So it could be a possible.
Kacey- Brody didn’t mean to kill the child. C’mon we all know that, it was a accident. You don’t know what it’s like to be in war, you see things and you shoot. The kid had a gun he could’ve killed Brody. The child knew what he was doing when he pointed a gun at armed soilders. So that point you made was irrelevant.
I’m sorry I know he didn’t mean it, I understand mental illness and ptsd personally. I know I shouldn’t judge him for that, I just can’t forget it. The episodes where he held Shane hostage were so intense and scared the crap out of me. That was the work of an awesome actor. It was so disturbing that it stays on my mind when he’s on the screen and it prejudices me against him being in Bree’s life. I know he’s a good guy, I just miss Nash.
also I’m kind of anti-war and that messes with my judgement as well
It would be a mistake to have Nash alive, it would be like bringing Megan back which to this day I think was the saddest death on a soap.
I hope nash is alive and jessica bee happy again and broody will be good with her sister jared shound be kill off and i see rexs dad gig and rex are good couple dont put him with her sister… thank you
It’s not Nash. He is dead. The stalker is Mitch Lawrence. He IS Jessica’s biological father. I think he is the mistery man that was in the hospital that gave Shane his blood or whatever, which would make him Rex’s Dad, which means that Rex and Jess are biological sister and brother, 1/2 sis and bro anyway. I don’t know what Jarrod is up to, but I think Charlie is helping him someway. Poor Vicki.
I have been on the edge of my seat waiting to see Nash Please don’t tell me its been for nothing I just might not watch for awhile! I was devsatated when they took him off, and I have waited long enough to see him again. Great story line though!

I pray they bring Nash back. I can’t stand watching jessica with brody and stop watching the show when they killed my Jash..I am still upset with ABC for doing that.
I am glad that Jared is dead, he had it coming. I think the writers can pull it off and bring Nash back, maybe as a twin brother or something. Hell have Mitch bring him back from the dead, after all Mitch is the devil on the show. IMO anything is possible with the soaps and OLTL will get better ratings if they kill off Natalie, Mcbain, Stacy, Skylar, and her friend, they are all terrible actors
One last thing, ABC should not recast Nash. Forbes March is the only actor that can play Nash…He is awesome. I just don’t get it with the show they fire the good actors and keep the bad one. Please fire Natalie…i can’t stand her the acting sucks…why is natalie on the show ???
