I’ve gotten this question a lot, and if you either participated in or read the transcript of the Open Mic we did for “Pain Killer,” then you already know the answer to this. But a little Googling led me to find the song. So without further ado, the song featured on this week’s episode of Medium is “Hey Soul Sister,” by Train. Train is the band responsible for “Drops of Jupiter,” and “Calling All Angels.” The song is embedded below, but the official video is also available on YouTube.

What on Earth Was That "Hey Soul Sister" Song on Medium?

I liked the use of the song in the episode.
I have the Drops of Jupiter song somewhere on cd single.
I loved the song, and I thought it fit perfectly with the episode. A lot of people were complaining that it was too loud in some scenes, but I thought it was great.
They always have great music on this show.
Great song, but it sure sounded like a different version to me than the one linked by Train. It sounded slower and female. Wish I had recorded it now to compare.
Great song it worked well in this episode. I always love it when they put songs
in the episodes.
Seriously? No, this song was NOT used well in this episode. Both my wife and I noticed immediately how loud and distracting the song was during the dialog (you couldn’t hear them talking over it). If they had managed to control the volume of it during the hospital visitation scene at the beginning, and used the song only then, it would have been OK. But the constant repetition (at WAY too loud a volume compared to the dialog) was inappropriate and poorly edited.
I really like this song and i think it was perfect song for the episode even though it was kinda loud but i really love that show and my favorite episode.
What was the song from November 13th episode Once in a Lifetime, that had the words Hush Hush and who is the artist
