A commenter brought up a very important question this week: what the hell happened to departed OC housewives Tammy Knickerbocker, Quinn Fry, Lauri Waring, Jo De La Rosa and Kimberly Bryant? Since today another housewife leaves the McMansion nest of Real Housewives of Orange County (it’s Jeana’s last episode), I thought it’d be a good time to find out what the Housewives Of Botox Past were doing with themselves.
1. Kimberly Bryant
Part of the original cast, Kimberly was last seen on two episodes last season: she was there for the “my boobs want to come out and play” fiasco and for the wrap party. Kimberly supposedly left because she had melanomas and needed to get out of OC, but there was also apparently a legal issue with her husband assaulting a woman at a bar. It looks like she’s fallen completely off the radar and hasn’t done any television since. Guess once was enough.

Another member of the original cast, Jo was once engaged to Slade Smiley. She also attended last season’s wrap party and as we all know, participated in the failfest that was Date My Ex with Slade. Jo’s hosting karaoke at a bar in Woodland Hills, California and giving interviews where she trashes Gretchen. Here’s a juicy excerpt from one she just gave to Reality Wanted. Unsuprisingly, the real way she found out about Gretchen and Slade’s relationship was Gretchen’s ex-boyfriend Jay Photoglou:
She called me because I found out from her ex-boyfriend Jay that Slade and Gretchen were hooking up. So the whole reason she called me was because it was already out. She actually called me when Slade was in jail and she was asking for help. (Smiley was arrested in February 2009 for unpaid child support, purportedly at Rossi’s Costa Mesa home.) I was just like, “How can you call me and ask me for help when I just found out that you are sleeping with Slade?” The truth of the matter is that it is what it is, and Gretchen, to me, is…it’s just dumb. We were ALL friends, you know, no matter how close we were, I just wish they would have come to me first, without me having to find out the way that I did.
Even being able to talk to Slade on it, one on one, but they didn’t even give me that. I just have to move forward, and not have a confrontation on camera. He was the love of my life, and she knew that. I was with him for 5 years, we were engaged, I acted as the mother of his children, and I was building a life with this man, and she was the girl that I knew, and you know what it is, at the end of the day, I just hate the way it all came down and came to an end. Slade and I are no longer even friends, and I haven’t even been able to talk to him face to face about it, and I know that is because of her (Gretchen).
I would take all that with a big ole grain of salt considering Jo dated Slade for five years and is just as much of a fame whore.
Sweet Tammy K., (pictured above sitting in between Tamra and Jeana) with the sad ex-husband who died and left his children nothing and the on-again, off-again relationship with Duff. You can hire Tammy as a speaker. It looks like she’s currently selling real estate, or at least trying to; her website right now resembles a link farm. Maybe she should hook up with the boys of Million Dollar Listing. Synergy!
4. Quinn Fry
Our Lady of Cleavage! Quinn was a cast member for Season 3 and was then totally scrubbed from Housewives memory. She didn’t even come to the wrap party for Season 4, which all of these other women attended. She was in the background for the trunk show at the beginning of the season where we first met Gretchen. Anyway, I always felt like Quinn should have been given another chance. When she did that roleplay as “Roxie” with her boyfriend in Las Vegas, it was truly a magical moment on reality television. Instead, we get Lynne and her dead in the eyes daughters.
5. Lauri Waring
And finally, the last housewife to depart: Lauri Waring, our rags-to-riches princess. I think the only person RHOC fans hate more than Tamra is Lauri. Perceived as a gold digger (she was “happy” to pass the torch to Gretchen last season) who abandoned her troubled son in exchange for being a trophy wife, Lauri left the show to supposedly deal with her family issues. She hasn’t been around much except to show up at the Bravo A-List Awards earlier this year and to appear on the Newlywed Game with husband George Peterson. Josh was arrested over the summer for possession of drug paraphernalia.
I am friends with Quinn on facebook. (She invited people like 10 times okay people!). She appears to hang out with Jeana A LOT. I think she is single also. She and Jeana have this group of younger men that they hang out with. It doesn’t appear romantic, but instead the younger men, who appear to be business men, look like they are trying to capitalize on the RHOC fame through Quinn and Jeana. It is a bit odd.
Had no idea about Kimberly Bryant’s husband. I liked 1,3,4 & 5, but I’m not really that sad any of them are gone. Won’t be all that sad when Jeana is added to the list either!
I have to say that Quinn made my skin crawl — she wasn’t nasty it was just you knew she would have her hands down a man’s pants as soon as you looked away. Pretty sad. As for Lauri, she may be a trophy wife but her family is nothing to brag about. Soon hubby will find a younger and dumber wife.
Please, when can we add Tamra and Vicky to the list!? Let’s have a vote!

I loved Jo and would love to see her back, especially now that Gretchen “stole” her man. However I think Jo is too busy pretending to be a singer in LA.
Kimberly “makes my skin crawl” to quote Tamra… Tammy K was boring and her daughters annoyed me almost as much as Lynne’s.. almost. Quinn was so bizarre and I did not like her but she made great TV with her slutty Christian ways and that damn wig. I will never miss Lauri. She’s more of an opportunist than Sheree… Oh yeah she truly loves her hubby. Right.
I thought Jo was okay but Quinn was kind of weird. She played the wholesome christian mom and then was role playing on national tv, while banging a younger dude at the same time. I wanted to throw up in the las vegas scene.
Maria, thanks for giving us an update…i actually miss Quinn, i also really would like to have Tammy back on the show, that last season she was on it was really interesting watching her daughters grow into women and mature, miss Duff too, and i really do miss Laurie. My favorite episode with her was her trip to Wyoming where she drove the RV. It’s really been since last season that i felt the show became lost it’s footing becoming more like the WWE except with backstabbing then just a show that had heart…with expensive champagne and heels that cost a grand. I agree with you on Jo, after 5 years, really, c’mon.
Jo should have came back while Jeana was still on since she was close to Jeana and Jeana was friendly with Gretchen AND Slade- although – Jo was never a HOUSEWIFE so she didn’t really belong on the show to begin with.
So Maria – check out the previews for the next RHOC – apparently Nugget Sr said something about Simon on Facebook that has Simon with an even bigger stick up his butt – Any ideas? Was it really that horrible? anyway Tamra is crying again over her son.
@ Rebecca – what’s wrong with being a trophy wife? I think every guy should have a trophy wife – he should have worked hard to get her, put her on a shelf and treat her like something special. He should let her shine and the trophy should make her husband feel proud about winning her!
Quick nice note to IHeartBravo – I would love to be a trophy wife in my next lifetime but how high of a price would I have to pay? (food for thought)
There’s the mistake – assuming a trophy wife can’t be married to her soul mate.
