Whew! You know Katelyn, I thought I sent you the email without sending you the attachment – DUH! Goes to show – don’t do stuff when you are rushed! I need to double check the schedule on the Sleuth Channel and see if they indeed have “Turks” scheduled for this Sunday.

I wouldn’t have thought to check for Sofia and would have missed Eloise, so I really appreciate the heads up.
Katelyn, I think it’s really funny that Sofia plays Eloise with hair that looks like it NEVER gets brushed, and on Medium she plays a girl with “perfectly groomed hair” and Maria plays Bridgette who looks like she seldom brushes her hair. Ha!
I double checked the schedule at Sleuth Channel and on December 23 at 9 AM and 1 PM EST, you can catch the episode “After the Pilot” of TURKS with David Cubitt, and on December 30 you can catch the ep, “Hearts of Fire” of TURKS at 9 AM EST. For some dumb reason, TV Guide doesn’t list or recognize the Sleuth Channel, odd since they are the TV GUIDE CHANNEL – I would expect them to recognize ALL TV Channels. Sleuth is an interesting channel, but just seem to have too few shows in their arsenal because they repeat the same movies and episodes over and over and over. I know Magnum PI was on for something like 10 or 12 years, but everytime I look up an episode of Magnum, it seems to be one of about 20 they show all the time. There were only 13 episodes of TURKS ever made, so naturally it repeats pretty often, but Magnum was on for so long, I would expect to see more variety. They seem to skip an awful lot of Miami Vice eps, too. They badly need some new movies, too. Just ranting, sorry!
Thanks for doing that, Katelyn. And Betty. It’s a great way to get a Medium fix while we wait (anxiously) for the show to return. (Only 19 more days, yippee! I keep hoping that the blogs will be wrong and we’ll get more than 9 eps). I actually saw a promo for the show tonight. I taped The Biggest Loser (which I never watch) just to see if there was a commercial for the show and sure enough, there was. A good one, too. Now if only they would get this strike settled so they could get back to work.
Katelyn, I’m sure you’ve heard about all the late night hosts going back to work the first week of January. I hope that the writers won’t picket so that they can do their shows. Maybe we’ll see some of the Medium actors on some of the shows, since they probably don’t have anything else to do.
Hey Everybody, I found another David Cubitt appearance that wasn’t listed in TV Now or IMDB! I’m so excited because it’s one of the “Outer Limits” (he filmed 3) and I’ve never seen this one – Friday, December 21 at 8 AM CST on the Sci Fi Channel – it’s the episode called “Sarcophogous” – I’ve seen clips and it sounds like a really terrific episode for him! I can’t wait! Yippee!!!!!
Let’s all keep praying for the writers and the PTB to get back to the negotiating table – nothing can be resolved while they are staying away from each other. I would LOVE to see the Medium actors on some shows to promote Medium. For some reason, it seems as if NBC only sends Patricia out – not that I mind seeing her, but she has so much to do, I wish they would spread the work around and send David, Jake, and Miguel out on the circuit for a change.
Did anybody else catch “Sarcophagus” the ep of “Outer Limits” with David Cubitt this morning? I did! It was a good one – got to see a lot of David for a change – he has made two others, “Patient Zero” which they’ve shown a couple of times and I have taped it – David had a smallish part, and then there is “Dark Matters” which is the one I haven’t seen yet – as far as I know they have not shown this Outer Limits ep yet since I’ve been looking for it – they have shown “Patient Zero” a couple of times. Lisa Zane and Robert Picardo (of China Beach fame) costarred in Sarcophagus. Robert plays a far nastier guy than his nice guy doc in CB. What a great show that was! FYI that is where Marg Helgenberger (CSI) and Dana Delany (nurse Colleen McMurphy – now on Desperate Housewives) got her big break playing the proverbial hooker with a heart of gold. That show had some very memorable characters and actors.
Anyway, just doing the *Happy Dance* because I got to see a new to me ep with the world’s most perfect man – David Cubitt! He He He!
Oh lucky Betty! I missed that one, crap! Gonna have to spend some time with the TV guide to program the DVR during the holidays.
Rachel, the funny thing is, I found it by accident when I was scanning upcoming days on my Direct TV schedule – I can only look about 3 days in advance and sometimes I get a “TBA” screen, but I found it listed myself. TV-Now Stars on TV which is now run by TV Guide never had this listed under David Cubitt, nor is it listed on his IMDB site, and he has nothing listed for the next two weeks on IMDB even though Medium repeats with him will run the next two weekends and “Finding John Christmas” is going to be shown 4 times or more between now and New Year’s Eve. I get that TV Guide doesn’t have the Sleuth channel so it doesn’t pick up Turks, but they do have the Sci Fi channel which is where The Outer Limits is broadcast. Go figure! I’m so glad I found it by accident! Now only one more OL I haven’t seen yet!
Betty, I also have DirecTV and never thought to go looking for the OL episodes; good idea! I’ll have to keep an eye out for future showings. I would have liked to have seen that one; he was so dang cute when he was younger! That man will look good in his 90’s I figure, but when he was younger, oohh! And it really is a pain in the tookus when places like TV Guide and whatnot DON’T list showings of shows or channels; what’s up with that?! Crazy…
I know this is a little early and we’ll probably all be wrapped up in the excitement of the new season of Medium, but I thought I’d drop a heads-up about a couple of VERY RARE Patricia Arquette appearances if anyone is interested. I haven’t been able to confirm this but reportedly, an old movie that Patricia made for the Lifetime network back in the 90’s is going to be airing on Soapnet on Jan. 27th at 10 pm EST. It’s called Betrayed by Love and it isn’t available on video in any format, and it is extremely rare to see it on TV, so if anyone wants to see it, here’s your chance. Patricia plays a young woman who becomes involved with an FBI agent played by Steven Weber, and gets caught up in a deadly tangle of drugs, love and murder. Mare Winningham plays her sister, who is concerned about her involvement with the wrong people.
Also on January 6, at 1:00 am, Lifetime will be showing an episode of their series Intimate Portrait, featuring Rosanna Arquette, and Patricia appears in it talking about Rosanna and their family. I would love to see them do an episode on Patricia, wouldn’t you?
Darnit, that Intimate Portrait of Rosanna Arquette is on Lifetime Real Women network, not the Lifetime network. I’ve got digital cable with 200 channels, and wouldn’t you know I wouldn’t have that one? Dangit! If anyone has that channel, if you can, please record that show. I’d love to see it. Thanks so much.
