Voting on this one was fast and furious – we want our Medium back! I was a little surprised that Bionic Woman and Chuck tied for first place to get the boot. Am I missing something by not watching Journeyman? The only one that got fewer votes was Heroes. A whopping 13% of you don’t like any of these shows. I must confess I wouldn’t exactly cry if any of them vanished, myself, but Chuck did make me laugh twice when I caught an episode the other night.

I’ve heard lots of grumbling about Heroes this year that a lot of people are not happy with the storylines so far. Sounds like there is a revolving door at Bionic Woman with all kinds of people being replaced on a weekly basis – one thing is consistent though, the majority of people commenting don’t like Michelle Ryan as the lead and feel the “bad” bionic woman actress Katee Sackoff should have been the lead all along. Apparently Michelle Ryan hasn’t impressed anyone with her acting skills, but I also hear the storylines are crap.
I think I like Chuck because the actor who is playing him has a nice likeablility factor about him and the way he plays Chuck. I find the show enjoyable – not to be taken too seriously.
Unfortunately, It is almost November already so I don’t think we are going to get our wish and get Medium before January. Especially since November is sweeps month. Nothing on NBC seems to be doing that well – even NFL football doesn’t do so well in the ratings when it’s not a hot, hot team playing – NBC is firmly entrenched in 4th place. So far none of their shows have completely tanked. No clear cut hits, yet no complete duds, just a bunch of so-so shows
Too bad “Viva Laughlin” is on CBS – it was pulled after 1 episode – that’s pretty bad since it was given the catbird seat right after CSI on Thursday night. I have to admit, I didn’t think it sounded like such a turkey and tuned in, but quickly changed the channel after maybe 5 minutes – the acting was awful, so I switched to L & O CI on USA.
No need to guess anymore; just got the word from the costume designer herself that “Journeyman” has been cancelled. One down, how many more to go…?
