It sounds like Miley Cyrus’ Sweet 16 birthday bash, which was held at Disneyland, was a big success. Her actual birth date isn’t until November 23rd, so she celebrated it a little early.
Miley performed for about 5,000 fans, who each paid $250 to attend the party. Billy Ray Cyrus also performed a few songs before Miley.
Instead of the normal Hollywood red carpet, Miley’s star-studded event had a purple carpet for the stars to walk on. Who was there? David Archuleta, Demi Lovato, Cody Linley, Emiley Osment, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Steve Carell…just to name a few.
In honor of Miley, Disney donated $1 million dollars to the group Youth Service America. Miley also helped Disney kick off their "What Will You Celebrate?" campaign which gives park goers free admission on the birthday for 2009.
Was Miley’s party everything she hoped for? Well, she already got a puppy for her birthday so she said she wasn’t looking for more presents. "My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I’m good for a while," Miley said.
