It wasn’t that long ago that I saw a casting call for a pair of four guys to play The Beatles in Walt Disney Pictures 3D remake of “The Yellow Submarine”. According to MovieWeb, Robert Zemeckis has found the four guys who will play them.
Their names are Cary Elwes, Dean Lennox Kelly, Peter Serafinowicz and Adam Campbell. Kelly is portraying John Lennon, Serafinowicz plays Paul McCartney, Elwes is George Harrison, and Campbell will be Ringo Starr.
The film is scheduled for a 2012 release date and is “a 3-D adaptation of the classic Beatles animated feature in which the British pop band traveled to a magical place called Pepperland in their yellow submarine to drive away the evil Blue Meanies.”
Does this sounds like a movie you will go see in the theater? It’s The Beatles!! I am so there.
