Will Britney get Sticky & Sweet with Madonna?

The last time we saw Britney Spears perform with Madonna was a long time ago, but how could we ever forget the unexpected kiss that happened in their song?

That’s right – everyone will remember the Britney-Madonna kiss forever because it was epic and completely unexpected.

The newest bit of gossip is that Britney may get “Sticky & Sweet” with Madonna all over again! (Oh come on, I couldn’t help it!) Allegedly, Madonna is hoping she can help get Britney’s life and career back on track by inviting her to be the opening act for her “Sticky & Sweet” tour. The “source” for The Sun said:

“They are recording a video together on Sunday that will provide the backdrop for part of Madonna’s show. And they are talking about Britney taking the stage on a few of the dates too. It’s hoped that Madonna can help Britney get back to her old self.”

I don’t know how true this is yet – a source and The Sun aren’t the most reliable in the world of media, but it’s exciting to think about. While there was a time that Britney was a big enough act to not need to open for someone else, there’s no doubt that touring with someone as big as Madonna would do wonders to help boost her career back up to the level it should be again.
