i find it just sad though that Lex turned that his chance for a happier life. he and Lana may marry but i can see from her initial reaction to being pregnant that she’s not exactly happy. and i don’t think she’s completely in love with Lex… remember what she alluded to Clark, wishing that things were as before? she’s sticking to Lex only because he loves her, and keeps no secrets from her (at least she wants to think so) but i bet she’s still in love with clark.
besides what’s the use of having money if you’re unhappy?

Well, we’ve already seen how Lana is slowly turning into a match for Lex – not that she’s anywhere up this his level yet, but hey, blackmail is certainly a few steps closer to the dark side than she was in high school.
And now that Lex still has his fortune, what’s the worry of losing a wife in childbirth when he can afford the best doctors money can buy?
I’m afraid we’ve lost the Lana we all loved – but if the show holds true to the old Superman storyline, she didn’t play much of a part in the movies, now did she?
