Many musicians including Will.I.Am, Roger Waters, Bon Jovi, and more were scheduled to perform at a concert called Live Earth India on December 7. Some of you may remember the first Live Earth concert that was held last year in effort to bring attention to the environmental problems plaguing our planet. Well, this Live Earth was supposed to be held in Mumbai, but was canceled due to the terrorist attacks last week.
Al Gore was of course one of the organizers and was very upset to hear about the attacks. He, along with the rest of the organizers made a joint statement saying how upset they were about the attacks and that it was only fitting to cancel the concert. They didn’t say however if they would reschedule it for a later time. This particular Live Earth concert was supposed to focus on raising money for solar energy projects. It is a really important cause for the future of the planet so I hope they find a way to reschedule it.
