Will Smith opens up his own school

Hola, you lovely Snarkarinos! how are you this fine Saturday? Enjoying life? Getting some chores done? Going to a million garage sales and buying a bunch of junk you don’t need? Oh, wait – that was ME. Huh.

Anyway, Will Smith has apparently bought his own school. Well, funded it at least. He’s renovating property formerly owned by the local school district and it will be a private (expensive) school that will have lots of sports, arts, and all sorts of fine larnin’.

Personally, if my kid was going to a school where Will Smith was going to pop in every so often, I’d be haunting the hallways for a glimpse. I would turn into one of those crazy PTA moms that volunteer for everything and are on every single committee, no matter how trivial. You know the types – they look down on other moms for not volunteering fulltime at the school, they’ve got those annoying stickers that say “My Kid is an Honor Student at Some Lame School”, they drink Starbucks frappucinos all the time and they’re always wearing those Mom Jeans or khaki capris from the Gap.
