Before Train was that corny band that sang “Hey Soul Sister,” they were that corny band that sang “Drops of Jupiter.” Now, ten years after the single was originally released, Train is launching Drops of Jupiter wine. The wine is a petite syrah and probably tastes like a combination of deep-fried chicken and your best friend’s tears. Train’s guitarist Jimmy Stafford explained why the band branched out into the vino business: “Jimmy Buffett got known for margaritas because of a song he wrote. … We’re trying to create just this little vibe, where people come to our shows, bring a picnic basket and bottle of wine.”
