Will.I.Am and Tatyana Ali (from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) teamed up this weekend to tour West Michigan in support of their presidential hopeful, Barack Obama. They hit several college campuses and small towns in an effort to get the younger crowd motivated to register to vote. He told reporters today:
“It’s not about celebrity. It’s to remind them we are all the same. They’re as important as I am and as important as Barack Obama.”
Even though there were many young fans that showed up in hopes of an impromptu concert did come up empty handed. The whole point of him being there was to talk about Obama and use his influence to get him elected president.
