This weekend I happened to catch Will.I.Am on Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO. He was featured on Bill’s panel alongside journalist Naomi Klein and political blogger Andrew Sullivan.
He showed his obvious support for Senator Obama and was very well spoken. He also showed quite a disdain for Sarah Palin. In fact he commented on how annoyed he was at the fact that she is such a hot topic these days.
I liked the fact that he feels so strongly about his viewpoint but he took a polite and reserved approach to his comments. It is so easy to go on that show and sit next to the extremely controversial Bill Maher and overreact. At one point Bill turned the topic of discussion to religion. For those of you who don’t know, he truly believes that those with faith are somewhat ignorant.
Will.I.Am definitely disagrees and very politely got his point across that faith has gotten him to where he is today. I’m sure that it will air again sometime this week so try to catch it.
