To prove that I love you (and I don’t care how much money you make), I am giving away a copy of Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger’s book “ Become Your Own Matchmaker: 8 Easy Steps for Attracting Your Perfect Mate
And it’s the hard cover version, not the paper back! This is true love, you guys. To enter, leave me a comment with your name and real email address (so I can let you know if you won!).
Here’s a little blurb on the book, courtesy of Patti:
“From the star and executive producer of Bravo’s hit show “The Millionaire Matchmaker” comes a no-holds-barred, pull-no-punches approach to snagging Mr. Right For You–in just one year. “If you’ve ever found yourself picking off your nail polish, sitting in your sweats with an empty carton of Ben & Jerry’s, wondering, “Where are all the good men, and why isn’t a gorgeous one standing shirtless in my kitchen mixing me up a pomegranate mojito?” I hate to tell you this, but it’s your own fault. Not to worry — I’m here to help you make that fantasy a reality, with one major addition: you’ll be sipping that mojito with a big, glittering diamond ring on your left hand. Sounds too good to be true? It isn’t. As a third-generation matchmaker and the president of one of the world’s most elite dating services — the Millionaire’s Club — I’ve put myself in the enviable position of being friend, confidante, and relationship counselor to men and women the world over. I know what the good guys want in a wife, and what sends them screaming into the night. Now I’m sharing their secrets with you. I’ve compiled my best tried-and-true advice and I’m going to tell you the things that even your best friend doesn’t have the courage to break to you. If you follow my formula, the man of your dreams will appear in your life, and you can be in a committed, monogamous relationship with him in less than a year. Get ready — I’m about to show you how to make all your relationship dreams come true.”
You can increase your chances of winning by letting me know how you met your last boyfriend. Or if you want to get the book for a single friend, give me a funny story on how you met your husband or current boyfriend. The funnier and more interesting your story is, the better chance you have of winning a copy of the book. Entertain me, please!
The contest will close at 12pm Pacific Standard Time on Monday, February 16! Millionaire Matchmaker Season 2 airs on Thursday, February 12 on Bravo (check the schedule for your local listings!)

Patti,
Your comments on the show are right on target. Single men and women desperately need someone to tell them how to intelligently interact with each other while they’re dating.
You certainly play an integral part in matching couples and I hope your show renews again and again.
Regards,
Tom M.

Hi Patty;
A friend of mine constantly tried to fix me up with “a friend of a friend” who lived in Salt Lake. At the time I lived near Jackson Hole WY. Apparently her “other” friend had a single neighbor who she talked about quite often and the two of them decided that the two of us would be perfect together! For the next year, they tried to no avail to fix us up. I wanted nothing to do with it as I had never had a good blind date. One day, 4 days before Christmas, I was getting some fruit at the local “general store” (town’s population 1000) and accidently knocked over a pyramid of oranges! (not unusual for me) A man who I had never seen before begin helping me retrieve the oranges. We started talking and before we knew it we had talked for an hour. Finally we introduced ourselves by name; I have an unusual name and suddenly he said, “I think my neighbor tried to fix me up with you!” He was my friends friends neighbor from Salt Lake! He was on his way to Montana for the holidays; he asked me if I would go out to dinner with him if he stayed in town over night. There is no place to go to dinner in that town past 6 p.m. so I made dinner for us at my house. We hit it off and when he found out that I had no plans for the holidays, he asked if I would be interested in taking a road trip to the Oregon Coast, he was headed that way after Montana. I said I couldn’t possibly as I had just met him. He called on Christmas night to see if I might change my mind. To make a long story short, he drove 17 hrs out of his way to come back and get me and we spent 2 of the most fun weeks of my life together on the coast! We were together a couple of years before we broke up. Still one of my favorite memories.

Hi Patti. Love you. I met my boyfriend when we were in middle school I was twelve and am fourty-four now. He was my first crush, my first dance and first kiss. We did not date in high school and lost contact after high school for twenty plus years. Twenty some years later after kids and a divorce for both of us we run into each other at a rap party in Hollywood and we have been together ever since. We do not live together and haven’t talked about it or marriage, I need your advice on how to get to the next level and marriage. I want to seal the deal. My guy is very laid back and dosent always move real fast. If you can’t help me noone can. Thank you sheila

Finding what you want, it is hard, but not impossible. Keeping him is harder. My best friend and I are single moms, with teenager kids. Independent women, looking for the right one. We tend to get the wrong men. We would love to read your book from beginning to end. Hey, publishing a book was a great idea. I never miss your show on t.v. Good luck with your book. I want a copy, pleaaaase! Cheers to find love!!! ♥

Hi Patti I watch all your shows including the repeats and marathons! My last love was in 1990 when i moved into an apartment closer to the university. I had a pullout bed/couch to get into my apartment (wow that shows my age) and asked mgmt if maintenance could help. It was love at first site for us both, Jesus offered to help and told the manager he would marry me some day and he did in 1996. We have one daughter who is now 12 and sadly he passed away 2 years ago. He was the love of my life and daddys little girl. I made a commitment to our daughter I would not date till she is 18 and she being 12 and getting more and more independent I feel your book would ABSOLUTELY help to get into the dating world soon. Thank you for such a great show and you and team speaking the truth to help others seek love.

I really don’t know why ya’ll are wanting to know how we met our husbands/boyfriends…..isn’t it a book about finding that person???? I was married once for all the wrong reasons..wanted kids and a sperm donor. Got both and bigger kid.. didn’t last just got 13yrs of grief. But I did get 2 great girls out of the deal. I have been divorced since 1997. Spent until 2004 rising those girls and then have spent my time away from them to have a retirement( I had to change jobs for their schedules and never got a retirement plan on board) I moved to California in hopes of a new life and opportunities,instead have spent time working. I really need to get back in the dating field. It has been so long I dont know how to!! I do need to lose some weight though(I am working on that) . Although, my friends and co workers say I am cute. I need the book badly…Please pick me. Thank you Laura
