Hey guys – I don’t about you but I think it’s time for another giveaway. I’ve got a great double DVD set featuring two of today’s hottest Latina stars (and new mommies): Jennifer Lopez and Salma Hayek.
The movies are Maid in Manhattan and Fools Rush In. They are both romantic comedies about people that find love in unconventional ways. But then, what is conventional these days, anyways?
Since Jennifer and Salma are both new moms, I thought I’d ask you all what you think is the best thing a mother can do for her children. Leave a comment on this post by Monday, July 7th. I’ll choose a winner at random and announce the lucky guy or gal the next day.

The best this a mother can do for her children is to remember that parenthood is not a popularity contest. Your job – and it is a job – is to raise this small person to be the best person he or she can be. (Don’t forget empathy though. Being a kid is a might tough job too!)

As a mother you can help your children by teaching them how to become independent and accountable for their actions.

Love them for exactly who and what they are. Allow them to be who they are meant to be not what you expect them to be.
I think you should instill in them the right thing and they will not part from it,they’ll always remember that.

Give them boundaries, children need boundaries. And DO NOT try to be their friend, mothers are for loving and teaching, they need friends their own age.
I LOVE Fools Rush In as it is one of my favorite movies! And I am a Huge JLO fan, too!
