This spring, Keds is launching Green Label, their first ever sustainable line of footwear.
Keds knows that being green is a way of life, a no brainer. So, did they sit back and let the rest of the world go green? Nope, they decided to do something about it!
The company challenged their factory and they delivered. They produced a fabulous line of shoes featuring 100% organic cotton, recycled rubber and non-toxic dyes. And this is what they look like:
I am trying to figure out which pair is my favorite and I can’t decide. Since spring is around the corner, I am leaning toward the green ones. Every girl needs a pair of green shoes right? This girl does! Just check out the girl below rockin’ a pair of Keds Green Label shoes.
Keds has also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation and for every pair of Green Label shoes sold the ADF will plant a tree in our nation’s forests. For additional information please visit: http://www.arborday.org/.
Not only are they partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation, but they have offered up two pairs of shoes for two very lucky Hunky Blog readers!

I love that they are made with environmentaly friendly materials-100% organic cotton, recycled rubber and non-toxic dyes.
I like that they are working to be environmentally friendly and using recycled rubber. We need more ways to use recycled products.
The style is simple and will never be outdated. I love white for summer.

I like the bold color
I like that the organic cotton reduces the use of pesticides. Pesticides are a huge problem everywhere – we can’t even eat the fish here anymore because of it.
My husband and I met at Sunday School when we we 5 years old (we didn’t get married until decades later!) But we shared a multitude of childhood memories – including wearing our Keds. We love it that they and (WE) are still around – all of us are committed to a healthy environment!
I love that they use organic cotton and natural rubber. No crappy plastic! I know these would be so comfy!

What I like about the shoes is their COMFORT, and I’d love to have them in black (and if there is no black, then red), size 8 please!
well first off they are Keds, which are eternally, but the recycled rubber is such a great idea. everywhere we can make a change, we sould.

I wore Keds all the time as a teenager and would love to re-discover the line. I love that the laces are made from 100% recycled PET (water bottles).
