Sorry I don’t have a better picture but would you like to own this official American Idol tracking board? I know it’s a little late (just got it) since David Hernandez is already gone but it contains pictures of the Top 12 which you can cross out as the weeks go on. If nothing else, it’s a cool piece of memorabilia straight from the show itself!

I love American Idol because Simon has a wicked tongue, I love a rags to riches story some of the contestants have, and I love competition in general.
I love American Idol because it’s the best idol of all !! Especially this year, it’s amazing ! As soon as it starts I just live for idol !! Go David A., David C., Jason, Carly… Ha ha love them all !!
I love to hate that cheesy show… But above all, I love AI because it gives me a chance to discover artists I would otherwise not hear about.
I have to go with Bouffe: it’s great to hear up and coming talented folks get the credit and opportunities they are due. Plus, it’s a chance to revisit some great old songs that I may have forgotten about.
I love American Idol because it gives our country’s talented artists the chance to show their talent to America and get recognition that they would have never gotten if it weren’t for the show… (Even if they dont win or even make it to the top 12!)
As a big BIG supporter of local/indie/underground music, here in my hometown and homestate – I think it is really cool & I appreciate what the show does for these kind of musicians and artists…

OMG that Idol board looks so cool… I already know exactly where I’d put it if I win!! But, obviously, with Idol’s millions of viewers every week I’m not the only Idol fanatic. However, I was gived the nickname ‘American Idol’ at camp after my counselor scanned through my IPod only to find a bajillion recordings from Season 6! Last year I was fortunate enough to meet all top 10 Idols and I hugged Gina Glocksen. Best night ever!! Anyways, I’d luv 2 win because I live for Idol. The show has given me something to look forward to through very tough times over the years. I love this webside, it rocks!! I come here like, 3 times a day, LOL! So, thanks for all you do!!
I’d have to agree with the comments from everyone who wrote in before me – I love to watch American Idol so I can see up-n-coming talents, at least one of which is sure (or mostly sure) to become a household name, and so I can hear what the judges, who know 1000 times more about music than me, think of the contestants. Beyond that, I love to see the ranges of each particular singer when they are forced to learn and perform songs from genre after genre; I love to feel like I’m partially responsible for my favorites (David Cook and Brooke White) being safe week after week; and I love to cheer when they sing well and laugh hysterically when they royally screw up (I’m not laughing at them, I’m laughing WITH them, of course. Can you feel the sarcasm?). Finally, I love to watch American Idol because it gives my friends and I something to argue about goodnaturedly at lunch every day.
