Win An MP3 Player from She Plays Music!!!

Ok music fans, it’s time to put up or shut up. She Plays Music is giving away an MP3 player to a lucky member of the She Plays Music community. The winner will get to choose between a FlipSide MP3 Player for BlackBerries or a LobsterTunes MP3 player for Windows Mobile Handhelds.

So what’s the catch, Deb?

As always, you have to sing for your supper around here. To win, post your favorite one hit wonder in the comments. Link to a YouTube or audio stream of the song so we can all hear what it sounds like. Try to be creative with your comments because the winner is going to be the most entertaining commentator this month. It can be either the person who made me laugh the loudest or the one who appears to be having the most fun. Bonus points if you can get the other commenters here to start up a conversation and swap stories. Yes, this is a community building exercise. Are you up for it?

This contest ends April 30th. Have fun!

My name is Michael, I got a nickel…

I remember that from when I was a kid. What a goofy song. I was going to post it but you got to it first. It probably helped that you knew what to call it.

I still love John Denver music. My husband and I saw him in concert a few times and have listened to him growing up and while we dated and he’s still one of our favorites. Placido, eat your heart out.
