Winners at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards!

Singer Katy Perry spiced up the 2009 Europe Music Awards as the host for the awards show. The event was held yesterday in Berlin, with a great variety of winners. Among those who won the most was Beyoncé with three wins.

Winners list of 2009 MTV EMAs in main categories:

  • Best Song: Beyonce Knowles – "Halo"
  • Best Live Act: U2
  • Best Group: Tokio Hotel
  • Best New Act: Lady GaGa
  • Best Female: Beyonce Knowles
  • Best Male: Eminem
  • Best European Act: maNga
  • Best Push Artist: Pixie Lott
  • Best Urban: Jay-Z
  • Best Rock: Green Day
  • Best Alternative: Placebo
  • Best Video: Beyonce Knowles – "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)"
  • Best World Stage Performance: Linkin Park
