Zac Efron and his “Me and Orson Welles” co-star Claire Danes and director Richard Linklater appeared on Washington Unplugged on CBS this weekend to talk about the movie.
Zac talks about how he’s breaking away from the High School Musical persona and is finding different ways to branch out and become a better actor. Claire also talks about how the role was a bit different than what she’s done before as well, and how she enjoyed working with Zac.
Richard Linklater gives a synopsis of the plot, and explains how the movie was based on the book of the same name.
Zac and Claire also talk about their trip to the White House while they were in Washington, DC last week and the lobbying for art education in schools.

Compared to Zac, Claire Danes sounds as dumb as a box of rocks.
