According to the MTV Movie Awards blogging, Zac Efron was grinning as he exited the stage with his popcorn trophy in hand, having just won the award for Breakthrough Performance! Zac showed it off to his Hairspray director Adam Shankman and then Vanessa Hudgens came running up to give him a hug.
“I was so freaked out!” Zac told her about being on stage. He then handed Vanessa the trophy. “It’s not as heavy as I thought,” she said!
