Zac Efron could be eyeing yet another big screen role, this time as part of a live action movie based on a Japanese series of novels called “Full Metal Panic.”
The novels follow anti-terrorist commando Sousuke Sagara as he’s “tasked with protecting excitable schoolgirl Kaname Chidori against nefarious forces.” The novels have been already been adapted as a Japanese anime and a subsequent spinoff series.
Zac already has a couple of other upcoming projects on his plate, including a movie based on the book “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud,” and a live action Jonny Quest movie. He recently pulled out of the remake of Footloose.
What do you think? Will playing yet another high-schooler benefit Zac or should he pass on this one?

Why? Why? Zack Efron as Sosuke Sagara? If that turns out to be true, I’ll puke.
Sorry, but how should this guy play such a big and challenging role?
I really hope, this rumor turns out to be wrong…
