Zac Efron’s name has been “preliminary” added to the cast listing for the movie “Jonny Quest!” It was speculated a few months ago that he was in the running for the role of the title character, and IMDB has now got it listed.
The only other name on the roster is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Jonny’s bodyguard Race Bannon.
The plot summary so far reads: “Young adventurer, Jonny Quest, joins his scientist father along with his brother, Hadji, and his pet bulldog, Bandit, in extraordinary escapades around the world. A live-action feature based on the animated Hanna-Barbera series, ‘Jonny Quest’.”
