Zac Efron has reportedly signed a $10 million deal to star alongside Johnny Depp in the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean.
The National Enquirer states that Disney approached Zac last year for a small role in the movie. “Zac was extremely interested.” And the role may turn into a successor to Depp’s character!
Zac’s role would be set up as the heir to Jack Sparrow. This way, the studio will always have a pirate on standby just in case Depp one day decides he does not want to continue with the franchise.
