Resume: After a couple of years of bit parts on TV shows Zac Efron hit the jackpot when he landed the role of Troy Bolton in the runaway sensation “High School Musical.” It was that performance that helped him land his first part in a major motion picture-“Hairspray.” Spiritual forefather: John Travolta, another man who isn’t afraid to dance and got his start in musicals.
