It seems that Zac Efron is being requested to play the starring role(s) in an upcoming movie based on The New York magazine article “Factory Boys.”
The article details Andy Warhol’s relationship with the Dupont twins, Richard and Robert. And according to Page Six, it’s the Dupont twins themselves who have requested that Zac be considered for the part. The movie is being directed by Steven Klein.
This would definitely be a role-reversal from the High School Musical and Seventeen Again roles. What do you think?

It’s definitely NOT type casting! I think he’ll do a good job in the role, even though it could be a controversial one!

Yeah definitely not typecasting! Zac keeps saying that he wants to break out of the high school mold. I think this role would definitely do it.
