Time Magazine has released their 100 candidates for 2009′s Person of the Year and Zac Efron is on the list!
His fellow contenders include the Dalai Lama, the Pope, Oprah, President Obama, Stephen Colbert and Clint Eastwood. You can vote for Zac here!
PRO: Having finally graduated from the High School Musical franchise, Efron is poised to transition from Mouse-branded moppet to grown-up film star, with a dramatic turn in Richard Linklater’s 1930s drama Me and Orson Welles. And if that doesn’t work out, he can always make a movie in which he does nothing but flip his hair and peer intently at the camera, and still clear $20 million on opening weekend.
CON: For someone looking to be taken seriously, a planned remake of Footloose seems like a very bad idea.
