Rumors are flying everywhere on the Internet that High School Musical 2 will provide a suicide scene complete with Zac Efron’s death.
Yeah right! As if Disney would ever throw THAT on their television network. Actually the report stems from a satire piece by Dateline Hollywood that claims that Troy Bolton will commit suicide. Complete with quotes, and to be taken lightly.
“Even though it’s a suicide, we still have a fantastic dance number as go under the water,” said Efron. “I’ll admit that I was shocked when I first read the script. But I trust Kenny 100 percent and I’m confident this movie will be just as fun for our viewers as the first one while at the same time making them think about important issues…”
“As with many epic trilogies, we decided to go in a dark direction for the second installment,” said Disney Channel president Gary Marsh.

he won’t die that would make everyone depressed and the whole movie would be stupid… i rembemer that they wanted to kill off Jack Sparrow for good and not have him in the LAst Pirates Movie which the story wouldn’t be the same with out him… so don’t worry they won’t kill Troy.
