Zac Efron was also featured on E!’s True Hollywood Story: Young Hollywood A to Zac. He is definitely quite the Hollywood story. He goes to audition for this “little” Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical, that no one knew how big it was going to be. That instantly catapulated him into this crazy popularity and it hasn’t slowed down since.
The True Hollywood Story opens up with Zac’s Hairspray co-star Nikki Blonsky talking about how Zac Efron is a triple threat and how you don’t find many of those these days. She says that Hollywood is finally getting back to the point where you don’t just say a few lines and voila!, you’re famous. It really does require more and Zac has more.
He can sing, dance and act and that gives him so many more opportunities. Watch the video clips and watch Zac’s story. It’s a great one. It shows you that Zac wasn’t just handed this fame. He had to work for it and hard, going from audition to audition and getting turned down over and over again.
