“Zeke and Luther” Get Their Own Web Series, Plus New Episode

On August 10th, a new episode of “Zeke and Luther” will air on Disney XD.

Disney XD presents a high-flying evening on boards and bikes, including a new "Zeke and Luther" episode in which the skateboarding buddies finally go "pro," and a half-hour "Next X" reality series special, hosted by professional BMX athletes Scotty Cranmer and Van Homan, that follows five amateur action sports athletes age 9-12 to the big-time at X Games 15.

Also on Monday, August 10, the "Zeke and Luther" inspired "Zeke and Luther Dude Feud" debuts as a 15-webisode series at DisneyXD.com.

The 15-webisode series "Zeke and Luther Dude Feud" stars Hutch Dano, Adam Hicks and Nate Hartley as Zeke, Luther and Ozzie, the characters they play in the comedy series "Zeke and Luther" on Disney XD. In the comedic webisodes, Zeke and Luther engage in a series of unusual competitions, each refereed by Ozzie.

Action sports stars, including BMX professional Jeremiah Smith, light up the "Next X" special as five reality action sports athletes, aged 9-12, get the VIP treatment at X Games 15, and the boy named The Next X, 12-year-old Ian Bradley from New Hampshire, gets the opportunity to showcase his BMX moves at the marquee action sports event.

The "Next X" special is a culmination of the eight-part reality series for kids that followed five of the world’s top professional BMX and skateboarding athletes (skateboarder Chris Cole, BMX freestyle rider Scotty Cranmer, BMX street rider Van Homan, skateboarder Billy Marks and skateboarder Lincoln Ueda) as they mentored young amateurs in their chosen sport, inspiring them to become better athletes. In addition to Ian Bradley, the amateur athletes are: Mitchie Brusco, a 12-year-old vert skateboarder from Washington; Matty Cranmer, a 12-year-old freestyle BMX rider from New Jersey; Tom Schaar, a 9-year-old bowl and vert skateboarder from California, and Micah Wu, an 11-year-old mini ramp and bowl skateboarder from Kentucky.

  1. Action Max

Did they air the “go pro” thing? All I saw was Zeke going up against his teacher.
