Avril Lavigne’s Divorce Makes Room For More Bad Brody Jenner Tattoos

Pop tartlet Avril Lavigne and her husband Deryck Whibley have finally divorced. The couple filed to end their four year long marriage this week, though their legal split was a long time coming. They’re been separated for a year and Avril has been publicly seeing The Hills star Brody Jenner for the last few months. For his part, Deryck has been seen out with an anonymous chic in a tattoo parlor.

Lest you think that Avril has won the post divorce dating battle, do not overlook the fact that Avril has been seen out and about getting tattoos with her new beau. Note to future divorcees: rebound tattoos are not a good idea.

During the 4th of July weekend this year, 25-year-old Avril was was photographed in Malibu with the word “Brody” tattoed on her rib cage. For his part, Jenner was seen Avril’s name on his forearm while out partying in Los Angeles. However, Brody’s tatt looks far more temporary (and if it is real, easily replaced).

Avril had the sense to sign a prenup when she married Deryck, but the 25-year old does not seem to be using the same restraint with Brody, who for the record has dated almost every female Hills star and loves relationship publicity.
