Ferrets are in the mustilidae family; same as badgers, mink, skunks, weasels, etc. They are carnivores, strickly meat eaters. They cannot process grains, sugar or fruits of any kind. THEY ARE NOT RODENTS. It would be nice to see people do research before they sound off on stuff they have no clue of.

The cancer rate on these little guys is so high because they get fed crap from manufacturers that has sugar, corn and other food items for humans. Even Marhsall’s, who is the puppy mill of ferrets, has the
worst food. They need minimum 45% protein, 20% fat, low carbohydrates and many of the food for them does not reach the minimum.

Ferrets rule! Awesome little creatures. NOT rodents! Closer resemblance to the fischer cat family, maybe polecats!

For chrissake, ferrets are NOT RODENTS! Writing that they are makes you look like the buffoon. Maybe you should read some basic info on your subject before you write about it.
