Merry Christmas! Your three favorite things, Rebecca Black, Kohls, and Black Friday have teamed up to make one super-thing. And it’s an ad, featuring a “clever” riff on R. Black’s infamous song. Guys, your mom’s totally a meme now!
I’ve got to wonder who this ad is appealing to. I mean, kids don’t shop at Kohls, so that must mean the older generations are aware of Rebecca Black? Imagine if they’re not, though, and they hear this jingle. Without the built-in joke, this commercial ain’t convincing anyone to go to Kohls.
Guys: try again with a riff on the “Bed Intruder” song. “Hide your kids, hide your wife, hide all those gifts you got at Kohls.”
