Study: Blondes Make More Money

Not only do blondes (allegedly) have more fun, they also make more money doing it.

That’s what a new British survey says. According to researchers at the University of Queensland, “blonde-haired women…earn seven percent more than women with hair of other colors.” They also score wealthier husbands, marrying men “who earn an average of six percent more than the husbands of other women.” Ouch.

Seems the researchers couldn’t really explain this phenomenon, either. “It seems the association between blondes and beauty dominates any perception that they have low intelligence,” said Dr. David Johnston, one of the researchers who ran the study. “This could explain why the ‘blondeness effect’ is evident in the marriage market.”

Being a brunette ourselves we feel slightly angry and slightly jilted. Should we go blonde in the hopes of snagging a sugar daddy?
