After Teen Mom 2‘s Jenelle Evans beat down a girl named Britany Truett in a video that got posted online last week, she has been arrested. Although the two of them seemed to have patched up their differences via Facebook (as illustrated below), Britany changed her mind and decided to press charges. In the Facebook exchange, Britany mentions that she is a teen mother also and that she and Jenelle need to stick together. I wonder what changed her mind – was it watching the video and realizing how badly Jenelle beat her up? Or was it the prospect of cashing in on the incident and nabbing some tabloid fame for herself?
Jenelle was arrested yesterday in Brunswick County, NC and is currently out on bail. What could make the situation even more absurd? The girlfight was a result of Jenelle’s boyfriend Kieffer Delp hitting on Britany, and when cops showed up to arrest Jenelle they also arrested Kieffer, who was wanted on an outstanding cocaine charge from last year. Wow, what a pair of winners. The pair were previously arrested for breaking and entering and pot possession, an incident which will reportedly be shown in tomorrow night’s Teen Mom 2 season finale.
Jenelle’s lawyer tells TMZ that she was set up. She’s due back in court on April 26. Will Jenelle end up doing jail time?

The AG for Brunswick County is a bulldog and people around here are not fond of her. I have a feeling her attorney is going to try and petition for the trial to occur elsewhere, that is if the AG doesn’t get her to plead out to something else. Really, it’s disgusting, I hope her parental rights are completely terminated and she does some time. And that loser boyfriend of hers too.
