Teen Moms Farrah Abraham, Maci Bookout, and Chelsea Houska Appear in Anti-Teen Pregnancy PSA

Although becoming teen moms is what made Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, and Chelsea Houska famous in the first place, the three young women are now appearing in an anti-teen pregnancy PSA for Seventeen magazine. The PSA is part of a campaign between Seventeen and bedsider.org, a website that gives information about birth control and sends reminders about when to take your pill. They’re asking women to update their Facebook statuses with “Hey, @SeventeenMagazine, I’m not ready to be a mom. I’d rather _____.” If you don’t know what to say in your update, here are some suggestions:

  • Finish high school
  • Not argue with my loser ex-boyfriend about child support payments
  • Join the circus
  • Be an Olympic athlete
  • Never change a diaper, ever
  • Quit my job and follow Phish on their next tour
  • Move to Europe to find myself
  • Stalk Max Irons until he breaks down and agrees to marry me
  • Grow organic spelt in my backyard and launch a successful vegan cupcake company

I fell pregnant whilst on the pill I love my daughter but I’ve lost out on so much and I totally agree with the teenmom girls. Be extra careful! You’ve got the rest of your life ahead of you!
