Yikes! A new study on Internet crime reveals that two-thirds of the world’s web patrons have been victimized by online illegality, with the number landing at 75% in the U.S. More than 50% of folks report having fallen victim to a computer virus, the most common form of crime. 10% of the poll’s respondents were taken by an online scam and 7% was the number for credit card fraud, profile hacking and encounters with sexual predators.
