We feel sorry for the tattoo artist: Each session took 90 minutes, and it wasn't the most interesting tat, either.
This shows that motherhood wins out above all: Kari Smith sold her forehead space to a virtual casino for $10,000, to help her son in school because he'd fallen behind after Smith's sister died in a car accident. In reverse to some of these stories, Smith set up an auction, the bidding for which had reached nearly $1,000 before GoldenPalace.com answered her "buy now" price of $10,000. Smith says she chose the casino because it also works with charities.

Those crazy Germans! Andreas Muller endured perhaps the most painful tattoo a man can get, and he opened himself up to ridicule. The rules were this: The £20,000 Mini Cooper would go to whomever came up with the craziest stunt, so Muller called in with an offer to tat his wang. Yes, he came up with a permanent way to call his junk tiny. Then listeners got to hear the whole painful process. Hope the car was worth it!
