The Daily WTF: A Man Dressed As ‘The Incredible Hulk’ Robs A Bank

Do you recognize this man? Of course you do. It’s the Incredible Hulk. Granted, he looks a bit wonky in this photo, but perhaps he’s had some work done like the rest of Hollywood.

According to Hamburg, NY investigators, The Hulk walked into the Northwest Savings in town and robbed the bank at gunpoint. After he got the goods, he then proceeded to run off on foot (not very Hulk like) and has yet to be captured.

The Hulk isn’t the first “hero” to go rogue. About a month ago a man dressed as Spider-Man robbed the BB&T bank in Maryland, and even Gumby has been spotted doing something similar. However in the case of Gumby, he didn’t get away with anything. When the would-be thief tried to rob the 7-Eleven in Rancho Penasquitos, CA, the clerk thought it was a joke. As Gumby “fumbled” inside his costume as if looking for a gun, he dropped 27 cents and ended up leaving. Poor Gumby.

The lesson here, kids, is that crime doesn’t always pay. And if you’re looking to get away with something illegal, your best bet is the old fashion ski mask or pantyhose on your head. It’s hard to take a child’s comic book hero seriously, and even more difficult to take Gumby seriously.
